Victoria Rangel

Communications

Victoria Rangel is an Account Supervisor with Grayling Los Angeles and implements communications strategies for a variety of clients including the Downtown Center Business Improvement District and the Central City Association. Her experience includes developing media strategies, conducting media outreach, creating press materials, coordinating events, developing key media relationships, securing media coverage, monitoring and analysis of media coverage and developing successful digital and social media campaigns. Victoria has provided communications services for a range of clients including Accenture, Allstate, The Coca-Cola Company, Ford Motor Company, and Pepperdine University.

Victoria joined Grayling PR / Rose & Kindel in February 2010, after working at Burson-Marsteller where she was responsible for implementing communications strategies for clients in industries including economic development, urban revitalization, real estate, public affairs, higher education, b-to-b, technology and consumer products.

Before joining Burson-Marsteller, Victoria worked at The Bohle Company, where she managed media relations for a number of clients relating to technology, video game and consumer product features. She also has global interests and experience, having worked at Total Media (a Weber Shandwick affiliate) in Cape Town, South Africa, as well as Anguilla Life Magazine in the British West Indies. In addition to The Bohle Company and Total Media, Victoria worked for Young Homes, in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, as a Corporate Relations Associate.

Personal Bio

Victoria graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sweet Briar College with a degree in English and Creative Writing and a minor in Art History; she also spent a year abroad at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. She completed her Masters in Strategic Public Relations at the Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California. Victoria also served on the Sweet Briar College Alumnae Association Board and currently volunteers as part of the Journalism Advisory Board for 826LA, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young students with their creative writing and journalism skills.
