Amy Blumberg James
Associate Lobbyist
Amy Blumberg James joined Rose & Kindel in 2004 and has over a decade of experience in the public policy arena. As an Associate Lobbyist, she works with clients on business and professions, environmental, local government, and transportation issues. Prior to Rose & Kindel, Amy oversaw media strategy, community events, and web site development for Democratic Senators as a Consultant for the Senate Majority Caucus.

Amy was also a Legislative Assistant for Assemblymember Wally Knox. In this role, she staffed legislation and advised Assemblymember Knox on labor and housing issues.
She served as the President of the California Young Democrats from 2001-2003. Under her leadership, the California Young Democrats received the Outstanding Chapter of the Year award from the Young Democrats of America in 2003.
Personal Bio
Amy is currently a member of the Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento, an organization that raises funds for Sacramento area children’s charities. An avid runner, Amy has completed 2 marathons and 7 half marathons.
Amy holds a Bachelors Degree in History from the University of California Santa Barbara, and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
